Default Dusk Pond

Hey Everyone

This is a shot of my neighbors pond at dusk right before it became too dark to see. I used my telephoto lens and was sitting on the bank of the pond when I took this. I used a pretty long exposure and it looked quite a bit darker when this was taken. I want too know what you think of this image in general and how I could better this technique. I specifically would like too know if you think the blurred grass in the bottom right corner takes away from the image. If so should I crop it or should I wait and take another one as that would be very easy for me.

From DPS

Here is the EXIF Data:

Thanks

Nice work. Really liked the photo. Reflection and color of the sky are captured nicely.

I think you shouldn't crop the photo. The blurred grass can be fixed in PP.
I really like colors in it but something about the reflection is bothering me. Not sure what.
Also, that seems to be a beautiful place and because it's easy for you, maybe try taking photos with slightly different points of view, and then compare them.

I like the colours and the fact that the ground is not completely black, and like Marija, I wish the reflections were crisp and sharp, I think that would add to the photo. Maybe try taking a bit earlier so you have more available light and using faster shutter speed.

Thanks for all the suggestions here are a few of the other photos I took on that night. See if you think any of them turned out better.
