i like the blues....they're rich and believable.....although the pilings look a tad cool.....i wasn't there, though......so only you would know for sure.....as it is....the color is fine....
pretty scene....and you have your focus in a great spot in the frame....if this is a cropped version, i might have given it a bit more room.....leaving your focus of where your pilings are going in relatively the same place in the field.....if that made sense.... ![]() peeper since you're using flickr, consider linking directly to them......our attachments haven't been up to snuff lately.... |

Relinked it thanks for the suggestion. This is not cropped, do you mean move further back to get more of the sides in?
I actually like the blue, so I want to keep it in color, just wondering if it was too much. But the image is as it really was that day, just an very clear and bright day. The birds and the duck might not cooperate with a long exposure shot! |

I think that the blues are too intense, but what the heck. Pictures are a canvas and you are allowed to do with it as you please. I think that the blue doesn't necessarilty represent "reality", but does it really matter? I like the picture the way you have done it.

I see. The problem was that the inclusion of more material on the right would might have been a distraction. It wasn't as nice because there was a garbage can there! How could I have gotten around that problem?
