Hi everyone!
I am proudly a new member here in this DPS forum! Now this is my first photo to be critiqued in this landscape/cityscape thread. This photo was taken on November 19th 2009 at 10:22pm. I had finished work at 8pm at the hospital and went outside and saw that it was really foggy like literally 0% visibility. Right when I walked out, I knew I had to capture this and my first thought came to mind was...a Muslim Mosque near by my house. Now this Muslim Mosque has beautiful structure in architecture. It had super, bright, white lights hitting against it so I said to myself this is a photo capture moment. So here it is! Please feel free to speak your mind out. ![]() EXIF info: Canon EOS Rebel T1i (my previous camera) EF-S 17-85mm IS USM f/4 0.6 sec. ISO-100 17mm Monochrome No flash, compulsory

I thought it'd compliment the background that's why I added a bit of the branches instead of the whole tree, and also to fill a bit of that white space. But thank you!

First of all Mark,
"Welcome" to a great site and a community who will if given the chance help you as much as you need. I hope you enjoy your time here and just get "Stuck In" and have fun. Now this image of yours, I have to say this is a really cool image. I love the atmosphere you have created and it looks like something out of a 50's Sci Fi movie. It is a really nice image and a great one to start you off with, thank you for sharing it with us, you a real talent. I look forward to seeing more soon. David
