Default The BIG Snow

I took this picture off my back deck after the big snow (we haven't had snow like this since 91). I want to know if the hole (clearing between the trees) is distracting? Should I crop it some how to make it better? Thoughts, suggestions?

Camera: Nikon D60
Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)
Aperture: f/1.8
Focal Length: 35 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: No Flash

side note ( I just found this out maybe you already knew it:-) ) if you click on the image and click on it again it gets bigger and to get it even bigger click on it again. Just thought I'd pass it on!

It looks like a beautiful snowy day! I'm not entirely sure that cropping to eliminate the gap between the trees will do much for the image. Overall, I think the image lacks a defined subject. But I suppose if you crop the top third of the image it might help it out. Also, it seems a tad underexposed.

I find that the hole is the subject. It provides movement in the photography. I would definitly keep it.
