Default Winter B&W Bridge

Hey all, I'm a digital photog noob and this is the first post here on dps. Just wanted to see if I was on the right track here with this b&w thing, all critiques are welcome. Shot in color then converted to b/w....

I love the lines and patterns in this shot. Very cool! I wonder if it would be even more striking if you up the contrast a little bit. Great shot!

I agree with levithan, very it is a striking shot. The leading of the eye is fantastic as you head down the image.

Perhaps a bit of a boost on contrast, but not too much. The exposure is very nicely done.

Well thank you! I had already bumped the contrast up a touch but didn't want to over do it... thanks for the advice.

Nice big warm welcome to DPS!! I'd like to invite you to take a moment to read the guidelines for the critique section. That way you'll know what should be included within your posts. Please do not hesitate to ask if you need help!
