Caliraya Water Tower, Laguna, Philippines

This is a picture of the Water tower in Caliraya, Laguna, Philippines. This is my first landscape photo that I took after having given some pointer and tips. I would love to have pointer on how I can improve.

Your horizon is a little tilted.

The shadows on the pier are pretty dark as well, though this can't really be helped going by the time of day you shot this.

Compositionally, I think it's lovely. Maybe a little less ground, since it is not all that appealing, and it will move the horizon away from the direct middle of the frame.

Otherwise, it's very nice.

Thanks so much for your comments. The time this was taken was around noon I think and the sun is really shining bright. I was trying to get a foreground and I agree that the ground is not at all appealling...
