Default Oasis

Hi,

I request you to critique on the composition and processing.

Any other comment on how could I have improved the shot are also welcome.

Someone told me that the Earth, Water, Sky ratio is not correct. Can anyone let me know what does it mean?

Thanks for looking.

First i would love to be able to view a larger version for critique. I dont know if it is me or just an illusion but the shot looks like it is a bit slanted to the right. You captured a beautifull sky scene and reflection and the colors are great. I would crop out some of the bottom darker blue part, it adds nothing to the shot and would make for a better balanced sky and water.

I love the rich colors in this picture. I am new myself so I don't have a lot to offer, but I agree with what was said earlier. Maybe crop the deepest blue off the bottom. Doing so would also help balance the earth/air/water ratio.

An eye grabbing photo! Lovely lovely image. i love how the expanse of water draws you into the mountains. 10/10 -no improvement needed.

Thanks for taking time to comment.

@Barabe,
Now that you said it, even I can see that its tilted. I tried to crop the bottom part but then the depth of a wide angle shot was lost. It is not visible in the small image but the bottom part does add to the depth of the photo...

The colors are striking, but perhaps a bit too intense as they overwhelm the image.
