Default Monchique - Portugal after rain

Though I've used photoshop for a variety of things, post processing has never been something that I've done much, but since I've been browsing these forums I'm guessing I'm missing out.

Can anyone tell me (or show) on how to improve this photo? I've already cropped it & touched it up a little, but I feel it can be better.

If anyone has anything to offer, good or bad please leave a reply Thanks

I don't have any critique to offer, but I did want to say that I think it is lovely!

I love the shot looks really good and I like the crop work. My only complain is the bush blocks the waterfall. My eye is drawn right to it and I feel like it is blocking the waterfall. But the only thing I could come up with is crop the the image so it is only the lower half. I feel like there has to be something better the more knowledgeable guys can tell you. In the need really pretty shot.

Boas bem vindo ao forum hehe
(Hi, welcome to the forum)

I really like the image the image, and the way you make the green pop up, and the soft blurry water nice work.

I would like it better if it was a horizontal image, although it probably wouldn't show the water drop all the way trough..

I think the crop is excellent. From the rocks in the water to the moss covered stones to the brick-like wall to the plant, the eye is lead led right through the photo. The only thing that may be missing is that there is no real "payoff" after the journey.

Nice DOF and overall pic. I don't think the problem is with the crop.

I think the picture would have been better taken from much lower vantage....especially with the large DOF you used. With a wide angle you usually want to get very "personal" with your subject....

Default Nice Job!

This little stream was at the end of my venture & I took so few. I'll have to go back & look at it longer!

I have uploaded another angle of the same tiny waterfall on flickr if anyone is interested:
