Went for a walk with a friend today, and got a nice shot of Sabrina Lake Basin, where Bishop Creek Canyon gets it's start...

This is a very impressive shot and the others of the set on flickr are also very nice. I love the way the sky turned out.

A litle note, Monotone refers to music and Monochrome refers color.

Actually, "monotone" means singly toned. This can apply to many different things, including music and photography. The tone in the photograph is grey. There are many different shades of the single tone grey in a B&W image. "Monotone" is the name of the setting used in Olympus Cameras. It might be monochrome in some other brands, but in an Olympus camera, it ixs referred to as "monotone", and this is an accurate use of the word. Just as an interesting side conversation...
