Default PA RR at dusk

Taken at twilight/dusk. I liked the vertical shots I took better than horizontal because of the framing and VP. Thots?

Thank you

The framing is a little awkward because the tracks at the bottom are not cut off by the frame in the same spot.
Exposure wise it looks fine to me given the conditions.
The overall impact though leaves a bit to be desired. The composition is not original and there is nothing acting as a definite subject of interest, nor is there any real drama to the shot. I know it is hard to resist shooting a fading train track, so try getting creative. Get close, play with focus, etc and see what you get.

Thank you some good points. Yes railroad racks are a tempting VP but very common.

Default Japaslavian feedback

If I am understanding correctly this second shot would be more acceptable with tracks even, and loss of much of the sky. Also this is a horizontal shot vs vertical so it changes perspective a bit? I do like BW but perhaps in this case color would have been better. I appreciate any feedback.

As Lil Jon says "Get low, get low, get low, get low!" +1 on the make it interesting...you could lay on the ground for a bit of a different shot, since there's not much going on landscape wise. Keep snapping and sharing
