Hi everybody. This is my most recent shot at White River Falls in North Central Oregon. This is actually the lower of the two falls, which is called Celestial Falls.
Just wanted your thoughts about composition, editing, and anything else you think is pertinent to the discussion. Thanks in advance for your comments. There is also a larger shot on my photoblog that shows more detail. ![]() EXIF: Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200) Aperture: f/7.1 Focal Length: 70 mm ISO Speed: 400 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Lens: Canon L 70-200mm f/4, handheld

Hi! thanks for sharing the pics.
IMO, the photo seems a little tight. maybe you could crop the top part of the photo to give emphasis on the falls. too bad you didn't have any tripods with you. this will be really sweet if you shot this with long exposure with ND filter.

Thanks for your insightful comment, Raigoki. Actually, I did have my tripod with me, and I got some longer exposure shots with it that I'll be posting another time. I wanted to do a little walking around with my L-series, and this is what came of it. My goal was for your eyes to follow the water from the top of the photo, over the falls, and into the pool below at the bottom of the shot. Perhaps I didn't execute that well?
