![]() Olympus E-520; Zuiko 14-42mm @ 42mm ISO 100; f/22; 1/25s -1.0 EV manual compensation Shot in monotone Red contrast filter Circular polarizing filter I really like this shot, but I would like some input from other people. I want to know what you see... P.S.--There is no "color version". I shoot in monotone because I personally believe it is the best way to make the most impactive B&W photos. Your mileage may vary, and that's fine. This is a personal choice, so please lets not turn this into a debate of the merits of color conversion vs. monotone capture. Thanks.

Hi
I like it! I see what you mean by the higher aperture settings. |

I really enjoy both alot!I did see the tutorial and appreciate it a bunch. I have been at this for about a year so I'm really new on some of this like Lanscapes. The fish pictures on the blog have a better handle on I recently moved to an area that has more Lanscape than fish. However, summer time will be back to fish. I also live close to some awesome Lanscape opportunities such as the Maroon Bells in Colorado. Hence, why I'm learning more on the Lanscape stuff. I don't want to do a lot of hiking and pictures and then blow it.So any help will be greatly appreciated. Lynn |
