I find it interesting, the composition, the color balance, and prespective are all good. You found what in your eye was an interesting shot, to me thats what photography is all about, focusing in on what you find interesting. Technically this is sound, wether someone likes it or not is personal perference.

High Dave, Happy New Year to you mate, I hope you have a great year ahead. Now I see you decided to brave what you have been putting other through. I really like the composition of this image, I find it interesting and there is lots to look at. But I feel the editing process has been over done as you now have little halos around the objects and a distracting fuzzyness around the middle of the image? I looks to me like you took this lying on your back looking up at a glass roof with lots of bird cages below the glass?
I just think you need to tone down the editing a little, brighten it up and adjust the contrast and it will make a huge difference. At the moment it looks like an over processed HDR image, I would like it so much more if it were calmed down and brightened up a bit. I look forward to seeing what you do with this image if anything? Thanks for joining in and keep it up mate. David

This is one of those shots that some will find incredibly appealing, and others will find incredibly annoying. This is purely a matter of personal taste.
Technically, it is a very sound exposure and comopsition. It flows nicely, has detail in the deepest shadows and the brightest highlights, and evidently focuses attention on the subject matter. Personally it doesn't appeal to me. I can't figure out what it is that I'm looking at. I believe it is birdcages strung between buildings, but it is too much "work" to figure it out, and I get annoyed. As I said above, that is truly a personal opinion. Definitely, there will be many who disagree with me, and find the same effect very pleasing... Overall, a nice shot. Well seen, and well captured. Personal taste aside, I can't find anything to complain about. Well done!

for a moment i thought the black shapes were floating laptops, and I was like, huh? A new age spin?? lol, but then I looked closer and saw they were bird cages (i think) I like the way different perspective, but it is a little busy with all those things to look at. Still, I like it a lot, it's very different. personal preference, i guess. thanks for sharing!
