I'd like to get some feedback on the composition of this photo I took at sunset. What do you think of the cropping and play of the light on the buildings?
I did some basic post-processing using Lightroom - mainly to enhance the contrast between the orange of the sun and the sky and water approaching black. Thanks! I love this scene! The image colors are great. With so much sky and water, I feel the impact of the scene gets lost and my eye is confused whether to look up or down. I think this would be a much stronger image if the uninteresting portion of the sky were cropped off just above the clouds and electrical pole. With this suggested crop the ripples in the water at the foreground lead the eye right into the photo to the buildings on the right and follow them to the buildings in the back and take the eye back around again. I too would remove the vignette. Nice capture tho.
