Default The White Christmas Thaw

I took this "landscape" photo in the backyard. We had a white Christmas here at my parents house outside of Richmond, VA. When I woke up this morning, things had begun to thaw. I stuck my camera out the back door and took this photo. Needless to say, I did some photoshop'n to make the edges darker. I feel this helped set a foggier mood to the photo, and enhances the depth of field. It may not be the most exciting subject matter in the world, but, how do you guys feel about the composition and post processing?

Thanks,

Jimmy

I love the foggy background. It reallys sets the mood of this image. The lone tree on the left provides an adequate focal point, howerver while you were in photoshop you could have removed the post around the tree, they are very distracting. Other than the post its a good image.
