Smile This is an actual bridge on a highway - yay for rural Wisconsin!

Highway TT

Camera: Canon Rebel XS
Exposure: 1/800
Aperture: f/4.0
Focal Length: 32 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Flash: Off

How is the composition here? And should I try it in black & white?

I like the composition. I think it would also look really nice, and maybe better in B&W. You could really play with the contrast and get a great image out of it. Nice Job.

Gotta love northern Wisconsin. As my mother would always say.....you betcha! I would love to see this shot in the fall when the trees are full of color. The composition works since the boards on the bridge leads your eye through the scene. You could do so much with this in black and white. Play with the brightness / contrast and different B&W conversion to see what you'll get.

Nice image! I prefer the monochrome. I think that contrast is good, but I think the sky would look better if it were darker. Maybe try applying a red filter?
