Default Flower in a garden

I found these flowers really beautiful. The shot was hand-held. The photo was taken at around 5pm and the sun was on my right side. I'm wondering about the composition, exposure and focus. What could I have done differently to make this photo nicer?

Nice shot. Could be a bit sharper. I have a few picks of those. They are called Frangipanis.

The flowers have a beautiful color and shape. I would definitely suggest that you just get a lot closer to the flowers or just a flower or even go macro to really put the focus on the flowers.

I like being able to see the whole group of flowers. What bugs me a little about the shot is that the one bud on the left side is cut-off. I'd like to see the whole flower. Practically speaking that may not have been possible.

Nice image.

Actually I utilized the rule of thirds while taking the photo so as to make it more interesting and creative. IMHO having the one bud which has been cut off will make the composition look slightly awful. Perhaps I'm wrong in employing the rule of thirds in the first place.

Thanks for your comments. I was using auto-focus while taking this photo. I wonder the flower will be sharper if I use manual focus. And also I shall focus on filaments or pedals?
