Default Housin area after the snow

I'd like some input into the crop and color of the photo along with what could/should have been done different.

Thanks
Doug

So what are talking about here Doug? Is this just a "reference" photo of your neighborhood after it snowed? Or is it supposed to show something else (like that tree in the centre)?

Regarding the crop, I'm not sure why almost 1/4 of the frame is taken up by the fence.

I think the bottom line with this photo is that the subject is not clear. Until we know what your intentions were, it's tough to give advice on you should've/could've done. I can see a nice shot of the row of houses in there. It would require you to move to the right so that you could eliminate all the fences and trees that are in the way currently.

The two fences(?) in the front makes me think of a bed - there could be a mattress in between there.

You should probably have raised the camera a metre or two to get a clear view of the row of houses on the right, that might have made a nice photo. But loose the bed and the tree on the right.

The light on the houses is nice though - has a fairytale look to it.
