Good news first, you've done a good job with the aperture and focus to separate and blur the background. Now, regarding the subject, what is it exactly? By your title I assume you were trying to show the cones. But the two in the centre are partially obscured and the single is just sort of there. If the cones themselves are truly the subject then I think some serious cropping is in order to really show that's what this is supposed to be a photo of. Without the title, I might think the geometry of the branches was the subject. Basically, when the viewer isn't quite sure what they are supposed to be looking at, it is a sign that the subject needs to be strengthened.

Much better. Now, most photo's look best when the subject is not in the dead centre of the frame. A simple compositional tool is the Rule of Thirds. Imagine your frame divided by lines into thirds both horizontally and vertically. This will create four intersections where these lines cross. Crop so that your main subject is on one of these imaginary intersections and you should end up with a more pleasing image.
