Default three colors

Hi all, it's been quite sometime since i last requested for a critique here.. Anyway, this scene caught my attention because the combination of colors (greens, blue, brown).. kind of made it interesting to me.. But what do you all think of the composition and lines in this pic combined with the colors? Does it work for you.?

There is another shot of the same place in bnw but at a different perspective. But that's a different story anyway.. you can follow this link to flickr upward_0060_2 on Flickr - Photo Sharing! ..I didn't dare post 2 pic

I do agree the color combination is great but content wise, I don't find it interesting.

I would agree with lputman, the colors look great but there is no real strong point of interest. The drainage swale nicely leads my eye into the photo but dies into the canyon.

thnks lori and mike for the comments. I guess there is not much to see in the pic. I was hoping of getting more of a geometrically scene out of it with the lines making triangles, but the tree kind of disrupt my intention.
