Default The Path Ahead

I would love some critique on this shot. It's one of my favorites and I'm thinking of hanging it in my living room.

1/160, f/4.0, ISO 400

I like the eel of the shot and how the light leads you down the path towards the benches. I also like the B&W on this image. The thing that is not doing it for me is about midway down the path you are getting areas that are blown out, other than that it is nice.

Do you have any specific questions (per the forum rules)?

In general, if you like it enough to hang in your living room, then go for it!

I think that, for myself, the shadowy area in the foreground (and the brighter areas farther on) don't work together well... the big shadowy area is "heavy" and the lighter areas are "light", making the weight of the photo fall in a slightly funny place. That's just my opinion, though!

I tend to agree with the first two posts, try to light the foreground and then change the exposure so it is more even. Or maybe a different time of day or just when the lighting is more even.
