Hi.
I took this picture last month in Qibao old town, southwest of Shanghai. I removed colors in LR and applied a sepia preset. Do you think there is too much post processing ?? ![]() (Click to enlarge !) Camera: Canon EOS 400D Digital Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200) Aperture: f/8.0 Focal Length: 55 mm ISO Speed: 200 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: Off, Did not fire I have a similar image without post processing here if you wish to compare. Thanks |

Hey Woods,
Good composition on the scene. My eye is pulled immediately to the buoy on the side of the boat and doesn't seem to draw back from them. Perhaps if you brought the color back in the boat but left the rest of the scene, or mute the colors slightly on the buoy that would help let the eye travel around the scene easier. Looks like a nice trip as long as your not the one running it;-)

i dont think i have the authority to comment on a technical perspective or as a photographer im below amateur level.
i just love the composition, the rule of thirds just doesn't apply with this great photo i guess

A nice shot! Evokes late afternoon, evening. Doesn't need the orange, seems out of place. That's the only real discordance I see
