Default My Winter Photo From Today

I have four photos that I feel are the only keepers from today. I can obviously only post one so I will go ahead with this one:

Make: NIKON CORPORATION
Model: NIKON D60
Shutter Speed: 10/2500 second
Aperture: F/5.6
Focal Length: 55 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Anyway I would love some opinions/criticism on it

Wonderful atmosphere. Love it!

Personally, I would remove a bit from the top. But not too much.
But it's a magnificent capture!

Great work

Hmmm, very good point.

I never ever edit my photos, when I format my laptop i will get photoshop or lightroom and start to learn.

Could you maybe crop it so I can see "how much" you would take off yourself?

Oh right, guess not. Was just want critique on it, views on how it could be better.

It was the first time I had attempted the whole "Single tree in a field at winter with fog" sort of thing.

I too love this shot and agree, you should take some of the top as this is just empty space that I think does little to help the compostion. Keep up the great work

Hi White-Fusion,

This image is quite lovely. Wonderful soft fogginess. I agree with ronald.be I would like to see a little less of the sky. BTW... You don't need anything fancy like Photoshop or Lightroom to do a simple crop of an image. You can do that with Windows picture manager or even MS paint.

I just quickly gave it an 8x10 crop and added a warming filter to just add a touch of color.

What do you think?

Much better composition. It's more balanced this way.
