Default Waiting in the City

Hi
Once again iam coming with a cellphone camera picture(1.2MP). Shot in a Bus stop, i am trying in this shot to tell about the waiting of the masses in the stopping and also the bright prospects in the citylife with the sparking lights...Tell me about the composition and the theme...

From this shot, I don't see people waiting in masses. It just isn't conveyed to me. Maybe taking from across the street would have provided a better perspective for your theme.

I think that the problem here is that the "masses" are mostly hidden -- I only saw the two guys out front at first, and everyone else later (once I'd read your title and tried to understand it). There is actually a lot of empty space, which gives exactly the opposite impression... the road and sky really give a feeling of "nothing here".

IMO, the biggest issue is it's too "distant" from the subject. I generally expect "street photography" to be either up close with a wide angle getting "personal", or from a distance zoomed in tight.
The other issue of too much open space and not enough "subject" is certainly relevant and would have been addressed by getting more "zoomed in" on the subject (fill the frame), or more up close.
