There are lots of things speaking for this image. the use of the branches to frame the object, the cloud detail, and the lighting all speak for the potential.
1. you've cropped too tight. leaving space above the monument allows the visual weight of the object to sink in. 2. the cloud detail could be better. that huge white space to the right is overwhelming to the eyes... (have you tried burning in with shadow/midtone to see if anything is there?) 3. Vertical /horizontal/horizon lines: Check very carefully. to my eye, the whole thing is leaning to the right. Try rotating a few degrees counter clockwise to straighten the monument, then adjust the crop. Good job ![]() Dustspots |
