New nikon 300 f4 AF-S

I just got this lens two weeks ago. This is my first shot with this lens. Pic taken with Nikon D-300 FNumber 7.1 ISO 250 I pushed my luck at 125 shutter speed. All I can say is I got lucky. Snapping that off at that speed with this lens with no VR. I thought my 18-200 was fast on the focus. This lens snap's in focus quick, very pleased with this lens so far. The only con is that it's heavy. I took this shot about 6 feet away. I think all I need is a 1.4 converter to maintain Auto focus it would make a great birdy lens. What's ya think?

Looks sharp, good exposure and the background blur is nice. Looks like you got a lens you will enjoy.

Thanks for your input. Yes I'm very pleased with this lens. It's worth every penny & then some. IMO It's a Great lens. Happy with it so far
