Hi everyone,
I took this shot of St. James' Park whilst walking through there today and have played around with the levels in photoshop. Any advice or criticism would be greatly appreciated! I used: Canon 40D, EF-S 17-85mm lens @ 17mm f/5 1/320 s ISO 400 Thank you! Miles |

Thanks for the reply Mike, luckily enough I managed to take another shot without the branches, so I might put that one into photoshop and see if it turns out any better!
Would you recommend trying to make the details at the end of the shot more distinct in PS, or would it simply be better to return to the spot and shoot with a smaller aperture? Thanks!

try a portrait shot also and see if you can get lower down to the water, just dive in with your tripod
try ISO of 100 and maybe f/11 if you do have a tripod think about a lower shutter speed and get their early in the morning for some nice soft light, sunrise early is this James park London or Newcastle? all the best Simon
