Hi, like to hear some comments on the idea behind this pic..? And how is the bnw conversion and exposure.?

I like the idea but would prefer the foot prints walked away from the viewer than towards it.
The footsteps I think should lead to a clear path.
Perhaps try getting down to a lower vantage point.

I would cut the footprints out altogether and use the great landscape above, like this:

The contrast makes for a catching photo.

I agree with tvoelcker about the direction of the footprints. I also find the mountain in the background too dark - I'd like to see more detail there.

Another vote for the direction of the foot print for me ^^
I got a similar shot even though the pathway is not as neat as yours... Great job on your neat foot prints ^^


Anyway, what conversion to B&W did you use?
I suggest try to play with different filter colours on the B&W conversion
Hope that you can retrieve some details in foreground and background

Bnw conversion..? I Use Digital photo professional, the original shot was in RAW, I simply desaturate it adjusted contrast, brightness. then add some sharpness. Selecting monochrome at the pict style is easier but the result just wasn't as great as desaturating it... I'm still new to this bnw stuff myself, cheers..
