Any suggestions on how to approach sunrise and sunset photos is much appreciated.
What areas should I focus upon if my goal is to bring out the warm and vibrant colors of the sky? What would a polarizer do for me in such a situation? Thank you Camera Model: NIKON D90 Exposure Time: 1/199 sec. ISO Speed Rating: 200 Flash Fired: Flash did not fire, auto mode. Metering Mode: Pattern Focal Length: 42.0 mm Lens: 18-105mm f3.5 - 5.6 |

The main thing is timing and being there as it happpens. A few seconds makes a whole lot of difference in the lighting and color. I like my sunrise and set when there are a few clouds to reflect some of the glow from dhe sun colors.
I dont think a polarizing would help but if you really want the warm colors, sunset filters do exist with a graduated orange tone.
