Default Vancouver downtown from the bridge

Hello, I made this shot when the sky was to get dark and lights were just to be turned on.
My question about the picture is whether the bottom part of the image is kind of distracting and should be cut off. I actually thought of excluding that bottom part when I composed the image, but that would force me to cut some of the buildings in the background as I was on the walk way of the bridge and could not move any further.
Aside from that, how do you think could I make the shot like this better? Thanks everybody.

I dont know whether it is against the rule to post a picture shot on film here. If it is, please let me know and I will remove it.

Maybe the bottom could have been framed different but overall I personally don't find it to distracting as their is so much to look at in this shot. I find my eyes roam through the boats and then up along the city sky line and bridge. I rather like it, nice job. Nice camera as well, I also have an F100 but it does not hardly get used much these days.

A beautifull city Vancouver. I wish i can go again one day.

By asking if you should crop the bottom and doing so you would crop out some of the buildings, you have to ask what is the important part of the picture? Is it the City buildings, the bridge, the bright light building under the bridge, the boats? If it were my shot, i would have cropped out some of the bottom and right side of the shot or have tryed to compose the shot differently. I would have waited a bit longer to capture the city when it is a bit darker too 15 minutes later or so.

Sure there is a bit of negative space on the bottom left but I don't think it is hurting your composition.
Had it been completely black with no detail it might be a different story.
I really,really like the grain.
It's a nice shot and one that I would be proud to share with others.
Thanks for sharing..

thank you for the input everybody.
I am glad some of you like it.
Regarding the lighting, I intended to make the shot with such lighting: a few building lights but not so many with still grey sky there. A darker sky in this case would become a shot with a different feeling. I actually wanted to take some shots with darker sky, but too bad it started too rain. I did however take some shots under the bridge when the sky was completely black. I will share one for critique soon.
Thanks again.
