Folks,
The following was shot in a place called ChitraDurga ( near Bangalore, India). Played around with levels to bring out the color and cropped the top. ![]() Model NIKON D40 Exposure time 1/60 s F-number f/13 ISO speed ratings ISO 200 Metering mode Pattern Focal length 26 mm White balance Auto white balance Quality FINE Please share your views on the frame composition. 1. Does the top-right bright white cloud irritates your eyes ? 2. Your thoughts on the border frame ? ( My preference is always black)

Wow, I absolutely love this picture. The border choice is good. The white area doesn't bother me, but what I might suggest is to try to go back (if you can) and take a wider picture (maybe stitch a few together). This way there is some understanding of the depth of this place, and honestly I'm sure there is more to see on either side! As this picture stands by itself, its great. But I would be interested in seeing what the entire area looks like as well (and maybe then the white sky won't stand out too bad if you have the entire ridge to frame it).

I reckon shooting from alower angle may help as the mountains in the distance are cut off ? I like the scene maybe re-visit it and walk around more try diffferent angles overall nice place nice scene but here try a different approach see what you get
