I know you hear this all the time...but I'm a first timer.

I took this picture at Watkin Woolen Mill State Historic Site in Lawson, Mo.

I was considering lighting, angle, lines and something out of the ordinary. What do you think?

Personally, I think if you upped the contrast just a wee bit and make it just a tad warmer, it'd be awesome. Heck, it looks good to me as is, too! Albeit, the sun seems a tad too bright; looks lightly washed out around the barrel.

try adding a layer that is the same picture in sepia mode and overlay it. that might be an easy way to warm it up, or on the opposite spectrum see what it looks like in extreme black & white. its a very nice pic! evokes a lot of emotion & memories.

I tried both sepia and b/w and found my favorite was sepia. It gave the picture a warmer tone. Thanks to both of you for your input.
