Default The church rises above...

Here is a night shot of a church nearby my apartment. I was actually looking for a good photo for a "tree photo contest" that is being held by the city that I live in. Any critique or advice would be appreciated.

I think the leaves draw too much attention from the church.

Since you mentioned your picture is for a "tree" photo contest, I think it works to have the tree standout in the foreground.

if the tree is the subject, I think I'd try to get a bit more of it inthe frame. not just the ends of a couple branches. Or you could go the opposite route, and keep most of the frame filled with the church, focus on the church, andjust leave a little of the tree in there to give some more texture, and depth to the shot.
