Default Need help with this....

This picture isn't perfect, but it's along the lines of what I was going for. I need any ideas that will help improve this type of picture. Thanks.

I don't have a whole lot to say about it, but I like it a lot! Great concept.

My only critique is the horizon line. It's a little crooked, which is funny because the pine cone is straight. Any EXIF data with this?

the tree competes with the pine cone. I think if the tree/sky were darkened a bit it would make the pine cone 'pop' a little more and place emphsis on the foreground.

I think it would look better if the tree in the background was a pine tree since the foreground is a pine cone. The photo has nice colors.

its an awesome photo
but i think the pine cone and tree clash
it would be good with just either as the main feature or the tree of the far left or something but playing a minimal role
well done though

I agree with the earlier comment about using a pine tree in the background, but for an additional reason. The pine cone seems to blend in with the tree in the background because of the similarity in colors. A pine tree would give contrast and make the pine cone stand out more. I like the way you made the pinecone the subject by blurring the background.
