Default Hill Top Tree


I did some post processing on this photo. It was taken in West Virginia on my dad's farm. There was so much to photograph, I wish I had more time. Critiques on everything, coloring, composition, etc are welcome.

I think I sense what you was going for here by implying these were the leaves that fell from the tree in the back ground.
Great idea except in this capture there are far too many distracting elements especially the shrubs to the left.
Tough call on how to simplfy this composition.
Maybe get down low to the leaves shooting across to the tree in the background. Might try a shallow depth-of -field but keep the leaves in focus and perhaps the blurred image of the tree ( depending on how shallow you can get ) will be just enough to still allow the viewer to make it out.

I'm sure we could offer you some technical advice if we knew your camera settings. Could you post your exif information?
