Default rice field and mountain

Hi, every body... I'm new to this forum.. so please help me, advice me, critics me, etc., etc..
how about the composition and color?



Camera: Canon EOS 450D
Exposure: 0.006 sec (1/160)
Aperture: f/10.0
Focal Length: 10 mm
Exposure: 0.00
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: -1/3 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

Hi and welcome!

Color looks good. On your composition: what's your center of interest? Don't take it the wrong way (just critiquing) but appears to be just a picture of a field as there is no anchor to draw the viewer in.

I know what you were thinking. Great view with a mountain and green expansive field. Unfortunately most people have seen green fields so you need to find some way to make the image interesting. In this case, maybe crop in to show more of the mountain. Maybe the mountain in the left 1/3 of the image and that lone tree in the right 1/3 of the image.

Nice blues and greens. The wispy clouds help break up the blue sky a bit also. My suggestion would mainly be to crop out those branches on the left edge and whatever that black spot is on the top right (bird?).
