Hello again!
Thanks for all your comments on my first pic. I was rummaging around through my files and found this one. I was wondering if it is set up well or would it benefit from a crop...I don't believe I did anything to this pic yet but seeing as how its almost 2 yrs old I don't remember. This was taken on my Coolpix. Please let me know what would make this shot better. Thanks! This is a lovely image. However, I do agree with Wulf that it is overexposed. I couldn't resist playing with it, and found that there was some detail left in the tree bark. This is what I came up with doing some dodging and burning.

Thanks Wulf and Jim!
Yeah I was to taken with the trees outside one day after work that I whipped out the camera and just walked along the apartment complex for about an hour or so until the sun started going down. I got a few shots that day that I just loved,...this was one of them. I didn't have any editing programs (still don't really) so I hadn't gotten to play with it much.

I'm impressed with how much detail Jim has clawed back. That's the kind of end result I would be aiming for although, if you can get closer to it in-camera you save a lot of painstaking post-processing time.
