Cool Times Square

I was recently in New York City and took a photo of Times Square from the top of a hop-on-hop-off tour bus.

What do you think about the lighting and color of the photo? Any suggestions are welcome

Unfortunately, not seeing the street hurts as it would have anchored the photo. Having been to Times Square, I know the desire to show the height of the buildings but I think the focus is just too high. A wider angle lens would have suited this shot better I think. I do like the color though.

I agree with nobie, I would add that the shot should be straightened out... looks like the uildings are leaning to the left. Color and lighting are spot on however

My first though was that it was a shame the ground wasn't in the photo. So it seems to be a common response. Your photo does convey the height of the buildings though. I'm no expert, just my opinion.

yes, the ground is missing here...the composition would been better with the streets and people as the foreground element.
