Hi all! I took this one today during a snow shower. If you look real close near the water you can see the blurring caused by the falling snow. The good news is that it only "dusted" the surface of terra firma.
Anyhow, I would like critique on the coloring of this shot. I used a gold-n-blue polarizer to pull out some of the golden color in the grass as well as blues in the water. I seem pretty satisfied with the result but would like a second opinion as I'm trying a different white balance technique that I haven't used before. Also, does the image "draw you in" or is it rather boring? Thanks for any help you can be! ![]() Pentax K20D 28mm ISO 100 f/20 @ 2 seconds

I really like the scene and the blurred water. However, I know you spent a lot of effort to get the colors the way they are (which are beautiful) but I think the dead trees and dreamy water might benefit from a black and white treatment and using curves to get some more contrast out of it.
Great shot though. I really love the foggy background. "Blair Witch Project"-esque lol |
