It's not boring! It's a lovely capture of Fall showing its colours!! I would like to have seen either the tree or the fence in focus, or poss a horse in between off center just to give us a focal point!

The color in the tree looks nice. The composition you have hear I think works as well but it might be better if the fence was in focus. I think a higher F stop might help a bit as well, maybe shoot for f11 or higher.
Looks like you have a nice area for fall color opportunities so definitely keep that camera with you and keep shooting!

Because of the different coloration to the other trees, and the big clear spaces in the fore/back grounds, it gave me a real sense of solitude looking at that picture. The tree could've of been clearer but the photo has feeling and i enjoyed it

Really nice color and lighting! I always like when the sun is lower in the horizon like this because it gives you great shadows, detail and shape to objects. Decide what the subject is for your shot. Is it the fence, the pasture, sky or the trees? In this case it is obviously the trees. If you would crop this tighter emphasizing the trees in the scene and leaving only the fence in the left side and reducing the amount of pasture and sky all of these other elements would compliment the strong power and beauty of the contrast in colors with the green and red trees.
