Default Blackpool Beach - Removal of Figures?

I took this picture the other evening in Blackpool at the beach. As well as general critique on the exposure etc I'm really unsure whether to edit out the 2 figures in the bottom right. I've left them in at the moment as to me they make the scene seem bigger somehow. When I've removed them it looks like a much smaller area photographed. It was taken about an hour before sunset.

Focal Length: 48mm
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/640 @ f/11

Keep them in. I love the sense of scale -- it makes the scene very grand and sweeping!

I agree. The 2 figures give scale to this beautiful photo.

Me too. The picture would be kind of bland without them.

I'm also for keeping them. Great sense of scale and a great image!

In they stay then, which was my initial feeling but find it's always good to get a second opinion.

Why do you want to remove the figures...it looks great as it is..
But if you still want to remove is then try to clone it out using photoshop or you cound even select the same coloured paint and paint over it.......

I didn't want to remove them but I wanted some opinions from others. I thought some people may find them a distraction from the scene. I always liked them which is why I didn't pan left to cut them out when shooting, I knew if I changed my mind I could edit them out but I've decided to keep them following the helpfull feedback on here.
