Default Sunset at its Best

Camera: Nikon D60
Lens: Nikor 18-55mm VR Kit
Exposure: 1/1000
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 40 mm
ISO Speed: 200

Please advice how to imporve the composition,framing and also tell if you where shoting this how it will be . some tips to impove my skills

Default try cropping

I hope you don't mind, but I tought that if you cropped the photo and moved it off center a bit , that it would be a more appealing shot. I'm new to the forum and I hope that I'm notout of line.

I agree, allowing the boat to have space to move in to gives a more dynamic presentation to me.
