Default Nessebar, Bulgaria

Hello, everyone!

Here's a picture I took during the summer. It was taken in Nessebar, Bulgaria - one of the most thriving sea resorts right now.

Nessebar

What I'm concerned about is the composition. I tried to give depth of field by including the street lamp in the picture. Now, however, I'm wondering whether the church is not obscured by it. I'll be pleased to hear your opinion about it!

EXIF Data:

Camera: Canon EOS 1000D
Lens: Canon 18-55mm Kit Lens
Exposure: 0.004 sec (1/250)
Aperture: f/10.0
Focal Length: 18 mm

Good concept but what I first noticed was that the street lamp was cut off, was that what you were going for? And it does obstruct the tower of the church. One thing to consider next time would be changing your physical location so as to be able to get the street lamp and the church without one obstructing the other. Maybe lowering the angle of the shot so the lamp parts actually are placed above the tower to kind of frame it. Not sure if that was possible though.

A very nice scene but the lamp post doesn't help in here, it's a major distraction. sorry

I think that is a good concept for adding depth to an image, but if the lamp wasn't obstructing view of the top of the church it would be much better.
