Default Sunset at the lake

Anything you would have done differently here with the composition? My post processing was minimal (I still stink at sharpening). The sign is annoying me but proved difficult to clone out
Thanks for any critiques you offer!

Hi Amy!

Exposure-wise, it looks pretty good. Compositionally, it seems to kind of "wander" a bit. It's hard to decide what the center of interest is. I think trying some different angles with the rule of thirds in mind might clear things up. Maybe move closer to the bench?

Hello Amy,

I really like the coloring that you have going in this photo. On the other hand I do agree with Navcom that it is a little hard to focus, my eye goes from the sun to the bench to the sign.

My recommendation would be to crop the photo so that the sign is not included and the bench and sun would both be on the bottom right hand side. That may give the photo a better flow. The other then that I realize this is on a slight hill, but it doesn't add to the feel so I would consider adjusting the horizon to be straight, which of course would only work if you have taken the sign out.

Hope that is beneficial.
