Default blue sky and beach

Took the pic in the afternoon and used polarizer to make the sky bluer and to eliminate reflection from water. How do you think about the composition and lighting?

I like your composition It's a bit dark and noisey to my eyes, especially the trees. Skies and sunsets are difficult for me to get right in post processing- I'm not much help there, sorry!

The trees are dark because they are in the shade. Only part of the trees there are in the sunny light. I also took another one in which all the trees are in the shade.

nice straight horizon and application of rule of thirds.
For me, clouds gathering more on the right gives the photo a sense of unbalance.
