What do you think of this shot? Is the focal point clear? Color good? Please let me know what you think.

Thank you,

it looks to dright for Me there is to much glare, for me you need to tone it down some and take out some of the glare.then you are on your way to a great shot.

what brasil said.

The white in the centre of the light source is an indication of blown highlights aka over exposure.

Apart from that, a powerful image.

If you are wanting to show cold and wet - maybe blue it up a bit - orange evokes warmth and sun and dry (to me at least)

At first I thought the tree was on fire or something, and the reflection on the wet pavement, I like it. I personally wouldn't worry too much about the blown highlights...some things shouldn't be in detail. Having said that, I think the image shows alot of potential, more still needs to be done. I'm not sure what though exactly, I certainly like the atmosphere in this image, and since I at least got the impression the tree was on fire, I might try editing for just that...so some interesting blur, or something or another that gives even more so the impression that the tree is on fire, something in the arena of the abstract might be worth a try.
