Taken at midnight.

Enjoy!

since your title invokes the sky - I was expecting the sky to be the focus. While it is a dominant feature, it isnt the focus. The pylon and power cables are.

The sky is nicely exposed, but the city is over exposed (in my opinion) and the foreground is underexposed. This maybe what you were aiming for though.

Composition wise; straighten your horizon. The pylon gives it a good look.

Main thing is 'selling' your picture right - I would consider this a pylon picture - that is the subject of the image, and your title doesnt really fit this. Maybe something like "electrons dont sleep" (terrible, i know :P ) would fit it better.

Overall, a nice picture. Just be aware of exposure of the individual elements, not just as a whole.

In my opinion, you'd better wait until the sky is more interesting...
It's quite dull to me, coz it's dead brown... If you shoot around 30 minutes after sunset, the sky would be much colourful though... If you insist to shoot at this condition, try to put something interesting on the foreground... Like a building or something that can draw the attention, or put glamorous city light...
Hope this will help
Cheers mate

The sky looks great when u capter the sunrise or sunset, or during the day , some nice and interesting clouds. In the night , u have a very limited posibilities to find something interesting.
