Default Chicago Panorama

Buckingham Fountain
This is my first attempt at a panorama (also my first post in critiques, so go easy on me, but not too easy). This is Buckingham fountain in Grant Park in Chicago. I used hugin to put this together.

I really want to know how I can make this photo pop. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Well for starters the sky needs some improvement...those midday horizontal gradients are rarely if ever appealing...so I'd try and add some color in a manner of speaking to the left corner, and increase the saturation so the sky as a whole is deeper, richer blue. The crop is a little unsettling as well...I think the lamp post on the right should be cropped out...and unless you've already done some serious cropping on the bottom, theres not much you can do now to fix the next thing, and that is the bottom of the image just appears arbitrarily cut off, I'd like to at least be able to see the bottom of that fountain and some more ground, not to mention all the people are cut off. I'm also not so sure about the placement of the fountain in the composition...I might have positioned yourself so as to place the stream of water just to the right of that tallest blue building in the center, where the shorter less distinct buildings won't feel so masked by the water as it is now.

Let's end with the positives...you seem to have done a fairly good job of stitching, the exposure is more or less good, and the buildings appear to be sharp.
