Default Sun Flair on Sunflowers

This photo was taken as the sun was just about to go down. The sun flair effect kind of interested me and I thought it added to the photo. What do you think?

Nice effect I like it but I would crop it so you cut off the power lines as they are slightly distracting !

I cropped the power lines out, I think it took away the effect of the sun flair... I don't like the power lines much either, but i think the cropped version is worse. What do you think?

not sure i like it... it's pretty overwhelming... also doesn't seem to match the direction of the light in the photograph...

It reminded me of Van Gough's painting. Did you do any post processing? I find the sun flair distracting though. Maybe you have another shot in portrait mode which shows the sun, sky and flowers?
