I'm new in this forum.

Yesterday I had a walk and I brought with me my camera (Lumix DMC-FZ28).
Here is some of my shots.Let me know what you think.

The pics are the original one.No post modifications or other software stuff.

Please tell me what I should improve, what's wrong (I'm still a beginner) or suggestions.

I love your photography.

I have recently read a tutorial and the photo for it was not unlike your first photo.

In Photoshop they masked out the water as it looked dreamy etc and they worked only on the trees and surroundings, bringing out the colour. The result was stunning.

Default Looks good to me

I like your pictures. I am new to this site too. Maybe on the fall colors there is a way to bring out those more with your camera. The last shot with the rocks and water, that is my favorite!
I kind of cheat with my point and shoot and use the foliage scene setting and it gives me those vivid colors. If you are using manual settings, it should have a vivid choice in the color selection and that would bring out those reds and yellows.
Keep taking those pictures, I think your pictures look great and you have such a great place to take them at as well.
Cheryl

Oh, I think I also remember from one class I took that a polorized filter will help with landscapes by making the sky bluer, it was something like that. Can someone verify this for me? I know that some of the filters are not too expensive.

What a lovely image! Very nice composition. I took the liberty of tweaking a few things, I hope you don't mind. If you want me to take this down, just let me know. Otherwise, let me know what you think. I adjusted the levels, bumped the saturation a little, did about a 15% burn on the sky and water highlights and applied a unsharp mask.

Composition-wise, I would back up a bit. I'd like to see a little bit more of the left side of the photo and more of the foreground. Maybe try a different vantage point, such as kneeling down.

Also, this sky is blown out (overexposed). You could either buy a filter (an ND grad filter) that will underexpose the sky only, or you can blend two different exposures (one exposure for the ground and one for the sky) in post process.

Other than that, it's a nice shot.

I would be more than happy to help in any way I can. Let me know what image editing software you are using. If you don't mind. lets use messaging instead of forum posts for this.
